Bobby Bennett

County Councillor for the Clare Division

Bobby Bennett was elected to Clare Division in 2021. She was Cabinet member for Equality and Communities at Suffolk Country Council from 2022-2024 and is currently the Cabinet member for Children and Young People's services.

Bobby is passionate about working with communities and prior to being elected spent 14 years working as a town and parish clerk. She was instrumental in driving through a project for towns and villages, working with all levels of government to get things done.

New children's playground at Brockley Village Hall

Earlier this year the Parish Council at Brockley was forced to close the Children's Playground when it failed a safety inspection. Nothing, lasts forever and that is very true of playground equipment and fencing as Cllr Wyman, Chair of the Parish Council will tell you.

Suffolk County Councillor Bobby Bennett, together with District Councillor Sarah Pugh, attended the latest visit by the Coffee Caravan to Stansfield today. They were joined at this event by two members of the Rural Policing Team who were keen to talk to local residents about all things local.
