John is Conservative councillor for the Ixworth Ward of West Suffolk Council, being elected on 2nd May 2019.
John was first elected to St Edmundsbury Borough Council in 1997. He has worked to make Ixworth and Ixworth Thorpe better places to live, work and visit over the past 18 years. John was Leader of the St Edmundsbury Borough Council up to its dissolution in April 2019.
