Candidate for Newmarket East

Rachel is standing for the West Suffolk District seat of Mildenhall East in the forthcoming election on 2nd May 2019.

County Councillor for Exning and Newmarket

Rachel has lived in Newmarket for 20 years, and has known Newmarket well since she was an undergraduate at Cambridge University. She has worked as a lawyer for many years and she and her husband, racehorse trainer John Gosden, have brought up their four children up in Newmarket.

Having served on Newmarket Town Council since 2011, she is continuing her work to get a Neighbourhood Plan for the town to ensure that residents at last have a say as to how Newmarket town centre will be developed in the future.
