Councillor Nigel Roman

District Councillor for Great Heath Ward, Mildenhall

Nigel was born and educated in Mildenhall, and is married with one daughter and a granddaughter. A retired self-employed plumbing engineer, he has represented the people of Great Heath for 36 years and also serves on Mildenhall Parish Council. He has great interest and involvement in all aspects of Great Heath including youth activities, employment, infrastructure, and local safety. He served as Chairman of Forest Heath District Council, Chairman of the Community Services Committee and the West Suffolk Waste Working Group, and is active in many other working groups at FHDC. He is a member of the Community Partnership and Supporter of the Mildenhall Community Association at St Johns Centre.

He is also Chairman of the Conservative Group at FHDC.
