Candidate for Haverhill North

Elaine is the Conservative Candidate for Haverhill North election on 2nd May to the new West Suffolk District Council 

Elaine has lived and worked in Haverhill for most of her life. She has run Stepping Stones Pre- School for over 27 years and has recently changed it to a Community Interest Company. They were rated ‘Outstanding’ in their latest Ofsted inspection. She is chair of Governors at Coupals Primary Academy and also chair Haverhill & District Twin Towns Association. She served on Haverhill Town Council for eight years, for two of which she was very proud and honoured to be Mayor. She is passionate about the future prosperity of our town which is why she stood in the May 2018 By Election.

As a Borough Councillor she has vowed to put the needs of Haverhill residents at the heart of everything she does. 

She has pledged to campaign on the following issues

  • Improving health provision in Haverhill
  • A new bus services from Haverhill to West Suffolk Hospital
  • Attracting new businesses to our town centre
  • Greater investment in our local services
  • Stopping illegal parking in our streets
  • Freezing our Council Tax for another FOUR years.

Colin is Conseravtive candidate for the Lakenheath Ward of West Suffolk Council for the elections on 2nd May 2019. He is also Suffolk County Councillor for Row Heath
Colin lives in Lakenheath with his partner Lisa and has been a Councillor since 2006, firstly on Suffolk County Council and since 2011 on Forest Heath District Council as well.

Councillor Andy Drummond

Andy has served on Forest Heath District Council representing St. Mary's Ward, Newmarket where he was portfolio holder for Leisure & Culture in Forest Heath,and is now standing as Candidate for West Suffolk District Council and also Newmarket Town Council.

Brian is Candidate for Manor Ward
Brian has lived in the village of Worlington for the past twenty-two years. Married with two children and three grandchildren, Brian enjoys gardening and playing golf. He enjoys travelling and is interested in current affairs.
