Fresh back from his holiday, MP Nick Timothy was straight out on the campaign trail for Robert Nobbs, our candidate for the Newmarket East by election.  Nick's family can always be counted on to join in the efforts and again the sun shone but after the rain....

There are always interesting conversations to be had doing the door knocking part of campaigning and that is certainly true in Newmarket. The lack of market on the High Street is a very hot topic together with bus services and the general decline in the High Street offer. The lack of investment in services for residents who endure the chaos of house builders for years on end with nothing to show for the inconvenience. Some issues can be addressed by the local Council but others are national so it is great that so many people spoke to the MP. Asylum hotels are a very topical and the state of the country's finances. If you haven't got the money, you can't spend it. It is a fact of life and people are rightly angry with the way the Government are spending what they don't have.

Posters are appearing across the area thanks the efforts of one of our campaign team. Thank you to all those residents who are putting up posters to support Robert Nobbs in his efforts to be elected for the District Council on 11th September.
