Rt. Hon. James Cleverly MP was a huge success as our Guest Speaker at the Annual Dinner held on 1st March 2025. In fact, the whole, slightly Welsh themed event, was very successful. Table favours of hand-made Welsh cakes, supplied by Welsh Bakes of Thrapston, were very well received by guests, as were the locally sourced tokens of appreciation for our speaker and our MP, Nick Timothy CBE. James stayed much later than expected, made sure he spoke to each table, and took questions before we closed the event with the raffle.
A big thank you to all those who supported the event - 77 of you - and to all the raffle prize donors. As our major fund-raising event of the year, the raffle always puts the icing on the cake. Total amount raised is still being calculated as we write this.
