Every Association relies on the members and the volunteers and the West Suffolk Conservative Association is no different. We are fortunate to have a very hard-working MP, Nick Timothy, who is engaged with his constituency and who is actively working for residents and businesses in equal measure. We also have a fantastic group of volunteers who bring so many skills to the task, be it folding and stuffing, walking miles leafleting or going up ladders to hang up banners. No task is impossible it seems and there are always refreshments to keep you going.
If you aren't a member, consider joining us.
There are a number of volunteers from our membership, and from neighbouring Conservative Associations, who respond to the call to arms as needed. Everyone has a skill they can offer be it ringing people up; posting leaflets through the door; conducting a face to face survey; putting up banners or posters; stuffing and folding and sticking in campaign headquarters. You don't have to be able to walk for miles - everyone has something they can do to support the Association as they in turn support the candidates, whichever election it is.
In the first instance, please complete the form below, or contact the office so that you can be pointed in the right direction (email [email protected] or call 01638 590 640).
If you haven't done anything like this before, you will be amazed at how many people appear and get stuck in. It is certainly a good way to make new friends!
