The South Suffolk Conservative Association kindly invites members from West Suffolk to join them at a dinner they have arranged on 2nd May 2025. South Suffolk is running a series of smaller, more informal dinner events, which allow for discussion of the topic of the invited guest. On this occasion, the speaker is Dr James Orr, UK Chairman of the Edmund Burke Foundation, Associate Professor of Philosophy of Religion at Cambridge and a leading figure behind the National Conservatism movement in the UK and the Alliance for Responsible Citizenship (ARC). Most recently he has been described as Vice President JD Vance's "Philosopher King" and "British Sherpa". James will be talking about the need for Conservatism and how we ensure that the prevailing centre-right opinion can be mobilised to defeat the Left at the ballot box. Very topically, his insights into JD Vance will also be probed.
