The Conservative Party Conference will be held in Manchester this year, from 5th-8th October. If you are thinking of attending, please let Sarah in the office know, as we will be organising drinks for the Association during the Conference.
If you have never been before, drop a line to Sarah - [email protected] - and she will give you the lowdown on what goes on so you can decide if it is something you want to do. A number of people attend on their own and it is always more fun if you know others are there. By coordinating attendance, it is hoped that everyone who goes will get the most out of the experience.
Accommodation can be very expensive in the host city and Manchester is fortunate to have a very good public transport system so you may prefer to stay out of the centre and travel in by train or bus. The Association is holding two rooms at a central hotel until 31st August if anyone would like to use one. If not, they will be released back to the hotel.
