When you join West Suffolk Conservative Association you automatically become part of the most open and democratic political party in the United Kingdom.
It is entirely up to you how active a member you become: some members become active political campaigners; others support our many social activities and fund raising events; whilst others prefer to support us through their subscription alone.
After the first three months, you are eligible to vote at all general meetings of the Association and in all national ballots of the Conservative Party. You have a say in the election of, and can indeed stand as, candidates to be local members of Parliament, Members of the European Parliament and local Councillors. You also have the opportunity to influence Party policy by letting us know your views, going to conferences and meeting other Party members.
Any person living in the United Kingdom is eligible to join the Conservative Party. Members are not required to be registered voters or UK nationals. There is no upper or lower age restriction on membership; however, prospective members under the age of 15 cannot be enrolled as full voting members.
There are several options for individuals, couples or young people. Please go to our membership page for more information.
